Beaded Drawstring Reticule Purse, Circa 1920

Entire surface of the purse is covered in vertical rows of tiny glass beads (probably Bohemian) in single-thread rows. The pattern is made according to the placement of the bead color. The pattern design consists of wide teal stripes containing navy and flame red stylized fleurettes, alternating with narrow navy blue stripes. The bottom section is navy blue ground with flame red accent motif. Beautiful colors of teal, navy blue and flame red. all beads are intact and silver-tone chain drawstring pulls correctly. Very good condition.

Measures 8"(to fringe) x 5 1/2". Circa 1920.
