Crudely carved in the style of Enku carvings. Daruma, the popular Zen God is depicted in various forms, this one standing in a wooden platform holding his whisk , all carved in a single piece of wood with the signature of the artist "Ito" incised on the bottom of the stand. Dated Showa 30 (1955).
