Farmer's vest, saki-ori. Muted hues with indigo borders around the arms, indigo stripe cotton lapel is a replacement done in the 1960's. Saki means "to shred" and ori means "to weave". Saki-ori were often woven from worn fabric and kimono cut into loom ready scraps of cotton, wool or silk.
