Japanese Basket for Ikebana, The Art of Flower Arrangement, Bamboo, Taisho Period

Rounded shape, half inch pieces of bamboo lined all around spaced inch apart twenty four (24) in all. The same pieces protruding all the way through to form as the feet of the bamboo. Different weave for the side and the inside bottom part complement each other resulting in a very pleasing look. Very well woven, sturdy and in very good shape.
