Antique kasane tansu from Sado island, hand forged iron hardware, warabite handles , wiped urushi lacquer finish. Elaborate incised iron motifs on lock plates and side hardware. Top has two large drawers, bottom part has two drawers and a "safe" box that opens up to two small drawers.
